Aboriginal Prisoners and Offenders Support Services Incorporated (APOSS) has planned to work towards a strongly focused organisation, capable of providing an exemplary and highly efficient Post and pre-release assistance, support and advocacy program. This is based on cultural relevance and appropriately supported by a range of Activity Based Life Skills Programs, qualitatively delivered for Aboriginal prisoners, offenders, people with exceptional needs and their families in the hope of enriching their lives positively and proactively and highly stimulated by community accountability and the challenges of transparency, honesty and trust.
APOSS seeks a profound reduction in Aboriginal imprisonment, re-offending, homelessness and those with exceptional need, across South Australia.
Statement of Purposes
APOSS aims to provide a positive, empowering service to Aboriginal people in their exceptional and lesser needs. This will be achieved with a strong commitment to service efficiency through sound financial management linked with the recruitment and development of motivated and talented staff.
